The world's first purpose-built wheelchair-accessible vehicle — engineered from the ground up, not retrofitted.
Unlike converted vans, the MV-1 was designed from a blank sheet as a fully accessible vehicle. Developed by the Vehicle Production Group and later manufactured by AM General under Mobility Ventures, it became the gold standard for paratransit, accessible taxi fleets, and medical transport nationwide.
